I'm a London Based Drummer and Tutor, With over 12 Years of Drumming Experience and equal amounts of Live, Recording and gigging experience with Multiple Different Performers and Acts, Classically Trained by The Excellent and very Professional Drummer Kurt Phillips.

Drumming and Creating Music Is and has always been my passion and I take Pride from My ability to Transfer My knowledge and Skills to anyone willing to learn.

I'll Teach any age and any Level of Skill.

History and Experience

​

Aidan was born into a musical home: his mother is a Classical Composer, Music Teacher, Folk Musician and Multi Instrumentalist.

He labels himself as ‘classically trained, to an extent, but also into a lot of other genres and styles of drumming to
Hip Hop And Break Beat, Metal, Pop and Reggae. 

To name a few.

As well as a Folk and Classical influence, Both his Mother and Fathers eclectic and extensive range in music would mould  the foundations for his journey as a musician.

 

At the age of Eight Aidan began his very first drum lessons taught by RockSteady Rock School In Hampshire and later was taught by classically trained Drummers, Later having involvement in a variety of genres bands, orchestras, Duos, and collectives. 

 

Musicals, Folk gigs and Drums were all the way through childhood. By the time he was a teenager, Aidan was a Confident Drummer branching out by teaching himself guitar, Keys and Singing, ‘in [his] own way, by ear’.

Aidan also runs a London Based Independent Record Label.

It taught him a lot about the music industry and, more importantly, access to the Labels recording studio.

 

Aidan has been Creating, composing and producing music throughout the last decade, Previously performing live with the band Smile More (Hardcore Goth Metal) , If This Was You (Indie Punk) and doing various session work on other musicians projects around the U.K.

 

After completing his Music production course, Aidan took up work experience as an apprentice sound and light technician at the local six-form; Queen Mary's College.

This had equipped Aidan the future knowledge and skills of how to set up a Live Performance and how to use, maintain and care for all of the Instruments and equipment.
